Wayne State University student-athletes had another stellar semester in the classroom during the Winter 2010 term with 53 percent of the student-athletes recording at least a 3.00 term grade-point average.

"These academic numbers are impressive by themselves," stated Wayne State University Athletics Director Rob Fournier.  "But when highlighted in reference to our competitive successes (second highest NACDA ranking ever and all five spring teams in the NCAA tournament for the first time) and our record 7,429 community service hours, we are accomplishing the mission of this department and this great University."

A school record 26 student-athletes, from 13 different sports (including cheerleading), recorded perfect 4.00 term gpa (indicated by *).
