Wayne State University third baseman
Rebecca Stanley (Waterloo, Ont./), after participating in one of two regional evaluation camps, has been extended an invitation to compete for a spot on the 2010 Canada Senior Women's National Team.
Following the conclusion of the Warrior 2010 season, Stanley participated in the Surrey (B.C.) Evaluation Camp on June 2-3.
The final Selection Camp began on June 4th, while the final roster will be announced on June 12th.
Players named to the final roster will tentatively fly to Miami on June 14th before making their way to Caracas on June 21st.

The ISF Women's World Championship will be held from June 23rd to July 2nd in Caracas, Venezuela, followed by the Canada Cup from July 3-11 in Surrey, BC. The team will remain together after the Canada Cup to play a series of exhibition games leading up to the US World Cup of Softball from July 22nd to 26th, and will be returned to their home location on July 27th. Please note that the Canada Cup and US World Cup dates are tentative.
