Detroit - The 2012 Campbell/ITA Division II Preseason Rankings were announced November 16th, revealing the Top 50 teams, Top 50 singles players, and Top 25 doubles teams in NCAA Division II men's and women's tennis. The Warriors rank 43rd overall as a team after a 16-2 fall season that included 14 straight wins including a 5-4 victory over 35th ranked Grand Valley before the Lakers ousted WSU in the GLIAC Tournament.

Coach Sheila Snyder's team featured a pair of Freshmen at #2 and #3 singles while sophomores Yahsha Moore (West Bloomfield, Mich. / West Bloomfield) and Anne Li Briand (Repentigny, Que. / École Secondaire Félix-Leclerc) occupied the #1 and #4 singles positions respectively. This youthful team has a bright future and will begin working on their spring season with aspirations for qualifying for the National tournament in early 2013.
