Tanya Joseph (Northville, Mich. / Northville) and sophomore
Anne Li Briand (Repentigny, Que. / École Secondaire Félix-Leclerc). Senior
Jessica Kruczek (Detroit, Mich. / Lakeview) and sophomore
Yahsha Moore (West Bloomfield, Mich. / West Bloomfield) also received GLIAC All-Academic team (cumulative grade-point average of 3.0-3.49) recognition.
Joseph, a nutrition and food sciences major, was 16-5 on the year with
Jessica Kruczek at #3 doubles while posting a 10-6 mark at #6 singles this fall.
Briand, an industrial engineering major, was a dominant 18-1 at #4 singles as her lone loss of the year came in the ITA Regionals. Briand paired with
Yahsha Moore at #1 doubles for a 19-3 mark on the year including a second-place finish at the ITA Regional Tournament.
Kruczek is a criminal justice major and was solid this fall at #5 singles collecting a 10-8 record on the year, winning five matches in a row at one point (9/30-10/12).
Moore, a liberal arts and sciences major, played in the top flight for singles and doubles while posting a combined 33-8 mark during her sophomore season.
The Warriors took third place in the GLIAC Tournament but finished second overall in regular-season play. The Green and Gold will continue with the spring season starting March 1st.
