The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has released its spring sports All-Academic Excellence (cumulative gpa 3.5+) and All-Academic (cum. gpa 3.0-3.49) teams for the 2012 season. Wayne State had a total of 43 student-athletes recognized by the league office for their academic accomplishments including 20 from baseball (7-Excellence + 13 All-Academic), 10 from softball (7-Excellence +3 All-Academic), seven from men's tennis, and six from golf.
Representing baseball on the All-Academic Excellence team were seven seniors in

Three CoSIDA Academic All-Americans are part of the seven softball student-athletes to be named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence squad. They are seniors

Logan White (Brantford, Ont./Johnson C.V.I.). The three softball student-athletes earning All-Academic team honors all were seniors in

The WSU men's tennis team led all GLIAC netter squads with six All-Academic Excellence selections in senior
