Midwest Regional Bracket
DETROIT -- The Wayne State University women's tennis team will continue its season as the Warriors were selected as the No. 4 seed in the NCAA Midwest Regional tournament.
WSU faces fifth-seeded Lewis (13-4) on Sunday at Drury University. The winner of the matchup faces the top-ranked Panthers on Monday.
The Warriors have received an invitation for postseason play in seven out of the past nine seasons.
Wayne State finished the regular season with a 19-6 record overall and finished second in the GLIAC regular season standings at 13-1.
Three GLIAC teams qualified for the five-team NCAA Midwest Regional field with Grand Valley State earning the No. 3 seed and Northwood nabbing the second seed.
