2013 ITA Division II Award Winners

DETROIT -- After leading the Wayne State University men's tennis squad to a second-place finish in the GLIAC, head coach Bryan Morrow has been selected as the ITA Midwest Regional Coach of the Year.

Morrow guided the Warriors to a 9-2 mark in GLIAC play during the 2012-13 season. The Warriors finished 13-8 overall. WSU has finished as one of the top four teams in both the GLIAC regular-season standings and at the GLIAC Tournament in all five of Morrow's seasons coaching the Warriors.

WSU is 65-47 overall in Morrow's five seasons as head coach, including a 32-11 conference mark. The Warriors are 23-6 in the last three seasons in GLIAC play.

Three Warrior players were named all-conference following the season, with senior Thomas Ducret and junior Aman Gill being selected All-GLIAC Second Team and junior Melvin Joseph being named All-GLIAC Honorable Mention.

Morrow was named GLIAC Coach of the Year in 2010, after leading the Warriors to the first of two straight NCAA Tournament appearances. Morrow was the ninth men's tennis player inducted into Wayne State University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2003. He played for the Warriors in 1987 and 1989-91.
