| The Wayne State football team will host the Mercyhurst Lakers to open the 2009 season at Tom Adams Field. Fans will also be treated to a special performance by Elvis Presley Jr., and inflatable play zones will be set up for the enjoyment of young WSU fans. | Wayne State will take on the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals in WSU's first conference game of the season. Fans can enjoy special performances featuring Spyder Turner prior to and at halftime of the game, which is scheduled for a noon kickoff, and there will be a special "Bell Giveaway" at the main entrance. |

| It's Tartar/Warrior Day at Adams Field, when Wayne State welcomes back all football and other athletic alumni to campus as the 2009 Warriors take on GLIAC foe Findlay for a noon kickoff. WSU is proud to welcome Duke Tumatoe as part of the 2009 pregame and halftime concert series. |

Women's Hockey -- September 25 -- 7:00 p.m. |
| The Wayne State University women's ice hockey team will host York University in an exhibition game to open the 2009-10 home schedule at the City Sports Center. Fans will receive free posters and schedule cards, and admission is free as well! |

Football -- October 3 -- 12:00 p.m. |
| A week-long Homecoming celebration will culminate at Adams Field when the Warriors entertain the Ashland Eagles for a noon contest. Prior to the game, the annual Homecoming Tailgate Party with carnival games, inflatable games, face painting, contests, food, and more will take place. The Cass Tech Marching Band will perform on the field at halftime, and WSU will crown a new Homecoming King and Queen! |

| The women's hockey team is pleased to invite all youth players participating in the MWEHL Tournament at the City Sports Center all weekend to WSU's series against Boston University. Fans who attend Saturday's football game against Ferris State will receive free admission to the hockey game with their football ticket stub. There will be a meet and greet opportunity with the Warriors as well. |

| It's Dog Day Afternoon at Adams Field, and fans are permitted to bring their dogs to the stadium as the Warriors entertain the Ferris State Bulldogs. | On Halloween afternoon, the Warriors wrap up the 2009 football home schedule against the Northwood Timberwolves at noon. Wayne State Athletics will honor the United States Armed Forces as veterans and other representatives will have a significant presence inside Adams Field. The 2009 seniors will also be recognized prior to their final game in a Warrior uniform, and kids get in FREE with a costume on to Trick or Treat with the Warrior student-athletes at halftime. |

Women's Hockey -- November 6-7 -- 7:00/2:00 p.m. |
The fifth annual Skate for the Cure Night will be held at the City Sports Center on Friday, Nov. 6 as the Warriors open their first CHA series of the season against Mercyhurst. Proceeds will go to benefit breast cancer research and treatment, and the Warriors will wear pink jerseys all weekend to commemorate the event. In addition, the team is sponsoring a canned food drive on Saturday, and fans can receive free admission with a non-perishable food item to donate. Call 1-866-WSU-TIKS for ticket information.

As part of Community Kids Weekend at the rink, Wayne State is sponsoring a coloring book drive during its series with the Vermont Catamounts. Young Warrior fans, you can also Bring Your "A" Game to the arena, as a good report card (at least one "A") will earn you free admission as well as a hockey puck!

The Wayne State University women's ice hockey team is celebrating its 10th Anniversary during the 2009-10 season, and during its series with the Syracuse Orange, the Warriors are inviting all of the alumni back for a special Reunion Weekend in collaboration with WSU's Club 35 campaign. In addition, January 29 is Faculty/Staff Night as well as Mark "Doc" Andrews Night at the City Sports Center, while Saturday the Warriors will celebrate Hockey Day in Michigan.
