Paige Kortman was a four-year diving letterwinner (2011-14), who received eight All-American certificates and won an individual national title in 2013.
Kortman was a seven-time First Team All-American, who placed in the top three at the NCAA Championships five times (final three years on the three-meter board and her last two seasons on the one-meter board).
In addition, she was selected NCAA Diver of the Meet in 2013 after winning the one-meter board and finishing second on the three-meter board. Her 2013 NCAA title score of 468.60 set the WSU record for 11 dives.
In WSU's national championship year of 2012, Kortman was a two-time First Team All-American, placing third on the three-meter board and seventh on the one-meter board.
In addition to the team national championship in 2012, WSU finished second the other three seasons, and won the GLIAC Championship all four years.
The two-time (2013 and 2014) GLIAC Diver of the Year, Kortman won three conference titles, including both boards as a senior.
In fact, she never finished lower than fifth in any of the eight GLIAC Championship events she competed in with a runner-up, a third-place finish, two fourth-place finishes and one fifth-place, along with the three individual titles.
At the time of her graduation, Kortman held three of the four WSU diving records, two of which still stand today.
A native of Holland, Mich., Kortman earned her degree in Kinesiology and was twice on the Academic Honor Roll.
