Claimed first place in the men's foil at the 2011 Remenyik Open at Northwestern University ... went 5-1 in pool play (+20 in touches/20-9) with his only setback being a 5-4 decision to Ryan Howell ... rattled off six consecutive victories during the direct elimination portion of the competition, including a 15-12 triumph over top-seeded Rhys Howell in the gold medal bout.
