Led WSU with a semifinal appearance in the men's sabre at the Midwest Fencing Conference Championships ... went 5-0 (+23 in touches) to win his pool ... won four bouts 5-0, and the other 5-2, to earn the No. 1 overall seed heading into direct elimination ... blanked Detroit's John Faski (15-0), before recording back-to-back decisive wins over Case Western's Jack Hu (15-1) and Indiana's Eric Doyle (15-2) ... edged Notre Dame's Kevin Hassett, 15-13, in the quarterfinals.
