Junior Destiny Lavita-Stephens led the Warriors with 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting including 5-of-6 from behind the arc in the 77-59 win over GLVC-power Indianapolis on Friday. WSU is ranked 17th is the USA Today Coaches Poll to begin the season after reaching its second straight Sweet Sixteen last season. Lavita-Stephens and the Warriors won the first outright GLIAC Championship since 1980-81 a season ago.
