Junior Kayla Balfour (St. Clair, Mich.) helped WSU finish seventh at the 2015 GLIAC Indoor Championships at SVSU on Feb. 28 and March 1. She finished fourth in the 5,000-meter with a time of 17:10.77.  Also, on the first day of competition she helped the distance medley relay (Leah Coonrod, Payton Julian and Chelsea Johnson) finish sixth in a time of 12:12.21. On Sunday, she placed seventh in the 3,000-meter with a time of 9:55.91.

The Warriors posted their best finish and recorded the most points in program history at the event.
