Wayne State University sophomore Karrington Seals (Farmington Hills, Mich. / North Farmington) earned Honorable Mention All-America accolades after placing 10th in the 100m hurdles prelims on May 27, which was day two of the 2016 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field national championships being hosted by the IMG Academy.

Only the top eight times from three heats of seven competitors each advanced to the finals.  Seals placed fourth in her heat and 10th overall in a time of 13.87, the third fastest time in WSU history.  The top eight times ranged from 13.48 to 13.83, meaning Seals missed qualifying for the finals by 0.04.

Two months ago Seals became the first Indoor Track All-American in school history placing eighth in the 60m hurdles at the national championships.
