Junior Ronald Booth (Detroit, Mich. / Consortium) has been selected GLIAC North Division Player of the Week after leading the Warriors to a pair of in-region wins last week over Central State (86-67) and Lewis (74-70 OT).
The 5-7 guard averaged 22.5 points, 3.5 steals, 2.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest in the two victories. He shot 57 percent (16-of-28) from the floor, including 56 percent (9-of-16) from beyond the arc. Booth was also 4-of-4 from the foul line.
In last Wednesday's triumph over the Marauders, Booth tallied a game-high 23 points, while connecting on 5-of-7 long-range shots. He also recorded five steals and two assists in 34 minutes of action. In Saturday's victory over the Flyers, Booth notched a game-high 22 points in 41 minutes.
For the season, Booth is third in the GLIAC in scoring at 20.5 points per game, and is tied-for-eighth in the conference with 13 made triples. His 36.3 minutes per contest is tops in the league, while his 12 steals is tied for fourth.
