Wayne State University Athletics

Junior Ziad Elsissy (Alexandria, Egypt) came out unscathed by opponents, going a perfect 11-0 on the day.   The Wayne State University men's fencing team won one of its four matches in the Titan Invitational at Calihan Hall on the campus of the University of Detroit Mercy. The Warriors defeated the University of Toledo's Club Team (19-8), while losing to the University of Michigan's Club Team (12-15), the University of Detroit Mercy (12-15), and Cleveland State University (10-17).
