Freshman Mats Westkamp (Bonn, Germany / Beethoven-Gymnasium Bonn) went a combined 3-1 on the weekend at first singles and second doubles helping the Warriors to a pair of conference victories.

He won 7-5, 6-3 at Hillsdale on Saturday, then posted a 6-3, 3-2 (ret.) win at Findlay on Sunday to improve to 3-1 in the GLIAC and 9-5 overall in singles play.

Westkamp had a 1-1 mark at No. 2 doubles.  After falling 8-5 against the Chargers when he teamed with Griffin Mertz, Westkamp then partnered with Taylor Vane for the first time this season for an 8-3 victory at Findlay.  Westkamp is 3-1 in GLIAC doubles play with a 10-6 overall doubles mark.
