Wayne State University junior hurdler Karrington Seals (Farmington Hills, Mich. / North Farmington) finished third in her heat and 12th overall during Friday's prelims of the 100m hurdles at the NCAA Outdoor Championships to earn Second Team All-America accolades (top eight receive First Team All-America honors, while ninth through 12th earn Second Team All-America recognition).

Seals was 10th a year ago in a time of 13.87, while her time this year was 13.86.  She was seeded 23rd out of the 23 competitors, but improved 11 spots to finish 12th.
