Senior Shannon Wilson became the 17th player in Wayne State women's basketball history to eclipse 1,000 career points during Saturday's win over Lake Superior State. Wilson scored nine points in the contest and also grabbed two rebounds, dished out two assists and blocked two shots.
In Thursday's win at Ferris State, Wilson scored 14 points with four assists, three rebounds, and a steal. She also played 35 minutes in the contest, marking the sixth time in 13 contest she has played 30 or more minutes.Â
