Senior Ziad Elsissy (Alexandra, Egypt) had a strong sowing at the Midwest Fencing Conference Championships on Saturday and Sunday. In the individual portion of the event, he went 5-0 on his way to winning the MFC saber title. On Sunday, he helped the men's fencing team finish fourth overall as he won all 12 his bouts. After the tournament, he was named to the All-MFC First Team.
