Karrington Seals won the 100m hurdles at the GLIAC Championships for the second time in her career (other time was 2016) with a time of 13.58, but the wind of +5.4 will not permit that time to be considered.  

She broke 18 feet for the first time in her collegiate career in the long jump and finished second at 5.56m (18-03.00), after being seeded ninth.  Not only did Seals hit this mark on her first jump, but also again on her last attempt, and is the best mark in school history by someone not named Jessie Kluz.  Her second-place performance tallied eight points in the team standings.
 

Earlier on Thursday afternoon, Seals won the prelims in the 100m hurdles with a season-best time of 13.74, which should qualify her for the national championships.

"Karrington led the way with a dominating victory in the 100 hurdles, and a surprise runner-up finish in long jump.  With a point in the 4x100 relay as well, she scored 19 points which was fourth among all competitors," commented Lofdahl.
