Freshman fencer Ahmed Saleh (Tanta, Gharbia, Egypt) secured his spot in the NCAA Championships on Saturday by winning the regional epee title. Saleh went 9-1 (+24 in touches) to finish first after entering the competition as the fourth seed. The selections for the championships will officially be announced on March 12th for the two-day event in Cleveland, Ohio on March 21-22.
