Senior Megan Guitar (Croswell, Mich. / Croswell-Lexington) went 4-0 last week with a 1.60 ERA. She came within one walk of a perfect game at Parkside (5 inn. 8-0 win) but tossed her first career no-hitter. Guitar recorded 34 strikeouts in 30.2 innings and allowing 22 hits and seven runs (all earned) with seven walks. She defeated Purdue Northwest (3-2) in nine innings, Parkside, Davenport (1-0) and hit a home run for the only run of the game, and Saginaw Valley (7-2) and hit another home run in the first inning.
