Sophomore Laura Cazacu (London, England) powered the women's tennis program to two victories over the weekend as the Warriors improved to 4-0 overall and in the GLIAC.  WSU topped Lake Superior State on Saturday as Cazacu and Linda Liong won at No. 1 doubles, 6-3.  She won at the top flight of singles by a score of 6-4, 6-1. 

The Green & Gold avenged one of two league defeats from last season by topping Michigan Tech, 6-1 on Sunday.  The duo of Cazacu and Liong won 6-1 at No. 1 doubles and the sophomore blanked her opponent at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-0.
