Senior Darece Roberson, Jr. () helped the football team beat Ashland on Saturday in double-overtime, 42-41.  On WSU's first play of the second extra session, Roberson caught a 25-yard touchdown pass from Jake AmRhein and true freshman kicker Niccolo Seilo drilled the PAT through the uprights out of the hold of redshirt freshman Chase Churchill (Richmond, Mich.) with true freshman Lukas Cusac on the snap.

Roberson led the squad with four receptions for 86 yards and two touchdowns.
