Won his third Midwest Fencing Conference championship in four years Saturday ... went 4-1 in the epee pool competition to enter the direct elimination tournament as the 10th seed ... defeated Ohio State’s Eric Gurnowski, 15-8, in the finals to give Gurnowski his first loss of the afternoon.
