Wayne State University Athletics

The Wayne State University men's swimming & diving program won at Saginaw Valley State on Friday 180-103 and senior Joao Martimbianco Ribeiro (Sao Paulo, Brazil) had an impressive day in the pool.  He claimed first place in the 100 breast (59.40), the 200 breast (2:07.70), and swam the fastest time in the 200 IM (1:56.81).  He also was part of the quartet that won the 200 medley relay (1:33.66).  The winning group included Mueller as the lead off, Ahmed, Ribeiro, and Katulski as the anchor.
