Kate Sherwood powered the women's basketball team to a key win over Ferris State on Thursday.  She totaled 25 points on 9-of-15 shooting.  In addition, she scored 18 with six rebounds and four assists in a last-second loss at Saginaw Valley State on Jan. 2nd.

She was named GLIAC South Division Player of the Week for her efforts.
