Wayne State University Athletics

The Wayne State University men's golf program began its Spring schedule on Friday and Saturday at the BrownGolf Intercollegiate.  The Warriors led after round one with a 289 and posted a 292 on Saturday to win the 36-hole event by 13 strokes with a 581.  WSU was receiving votes in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll.

The event was played at Foxfire Golf Course (Par 72 / 6,725 Yards).  Josh DiCarlo posted his first collegiate tournament victory by shooting a 143 (71, 72).  He was one stroke better than Connor Bennink and Elijah Ruppert, both from Gannon.
