Anais Ruyssen was outstanding in two matches during the GLIAC Tournament. She defeated both of her opponents at No. 1 singles, including a match-clinching victory in the GLIAC Tournament Championship against Northwood.
In the semifinals on Saturday, April 30th against Grand Valley State, Ruyssen claimed a 6-1, 7-6 (5) win. The following day in the championship, she avenged her only conference loss of the season by defeating Northwood's top player, 2-6, 7-6 (3), 7-5). Ruyssen was also named GLIAC Player of the Year on the opening day of the tournament.
