Luke Laws was dominant over this last two matches, which helped WSU secure a berth in the Round of 16 in the NCAA Championships. On May 9th against Lewis, Laws teamed up with Spicer to deliver a 6-1 victory in doubles. He then took care of business in singles, collecting a 6-0, 6-1 win.Â
The following day against rival Grand Valley State, Laws had another spectacular outing, as he posted wins in both doubles and singles. First, he and Spicer again notched a win in doubles, earning a 6-3 victory. After doubles, Laws made quick work of his opponent in singles, recording a 6-2, 6-3 win.Â
