Te'Avion Warren scored what ended up being the go-ahead touchdown in Wayne State's 31-24 win over Missouri S&T, the 2023 home opener under first-year head coach Tyrone Wheatley. The 57-yard connection from quarterback Jayden Waddell came early in the fourth quarter, put the Warriors up 31-17 and was the first touchdown of Warren's career. For the day, the 5-7 slot receiver racked up 105 yards on three catches.
