Bennett Hitzelberger went 8-for-17 (.471 batting average) with a 1.121 on-base plus slugging in Wayne State's first four games of the season, three of which resulted in wins.  Hitzelberger tallied three runs scored, the first home run of his career in game one on Saturday, seven driven in, one walk and a sacrifice fly.
