Marta Komar was one of two Warriors to win both of her singles matches this past week at home against Tiffin and Oakland. The redshirt junior collected WSU's first point of last Wednesday's match with the Dragons by tallying a 6-2, 7-6 (7-3) win over Emily Barrett. She then earned another victory in straight sets this past Sunday, downing OU's Isabelle Pompa by scores of 6-3 and 6-4. Both matches were contested at the No. 3 singles position. In doubles, Komar and Anais Ruyssen triumphed 6-2 vs. Pompa and Emma Hultqvist at the first flight. Komar's two victories improved her spring record to 9-4, with seven of those wins (7-3) at the third spot in the Green and Gold's lineup.
