Freshman Claudia Portillo won the inaugural Warrior Invitational on Tuesday, Sept. 24 for the first individual title of her career.  Playing in a field of 51 at Orchards Golf Club in Washington, Mich., the rookie carded a two-round score of 148 (+4, 72-76).  Portillo led Wayne State to the Team Championship, the program's first of the year and earliest in a season since Sept. 22-23 of 2018, Ohio Dominican's Cumberland Trail Classic.
