Wayne State University Athletics

Zeyad Nofal (Cairo, Egypt / Newcastle International School) finished competition at the Schiller Duals with an 11-6 bout record in the sabre weapon.  The redshirt freshman won both of his bouts against Wheaton College, and helped lift the Warriors to a victory over the Lyons.  Along with his strong performance vs. WC, Nofal went 2-1 when facing the University of Notre Dame, Ohio State University, Stanford University, and the Air Force Academy.
