Sophomore Owen Tuccinardi (Ann Arbor, Mich. / Skyline) hit .400 (6-for-15) in Wayne State's four RussMatt Invitational games in Florida last week. Tuccinardi tallied three runs scored, 10 RBI, one double, a triple, three-run home run, and two walks. The second-year Warrior tied his career high in RBI with three against Point Park on March 7 before besting that mark the next day vs. Malone with five. In the 21-3 blowout win over the Pioneers, Tuccinardi hit a three-run blast in the first, his first bomb of the season, an RBI single in the second and run-scoring double in the fifth.
