Freshman third baseman Kate DeWitt (Grand Blanc, Mich.) batted .421 (8-for-19) while starting all six games.  She had three extra-base hits (1 double and 2 triples) for a .684 slugging percentage.  She scored three runs and walked twice for a .476 on-base percentage.  She also played errorless defense (8 PO, 14 A) at the hot corner.
