Graduate student Emily Gordon (Northville, Mich.) was named GLIAC Female Track Athlete of the Week on Monday.  This marked the second time in her Warrior career Gordon has been honored after earning the same recognition on Feb. 17, 2025.   The mid-distance runner garners the honor after eclipsing her own school record by over two seconds in the mile.   The graduate student took first place in the event at the annual W-C-W (Warriors-Cardinals-Wildcats) meet hosted this year by SVSU.  Her first-place finish helped WSU earn the team title.  It was Gordon's first time running the mile race in more than a year.
