Junior Lucas Ames (Oxford, Mich. / [Mott C.C.]) claimed the individual title at the Lansing Community College Stars Invitational on Friday for Wayne State, clocking a time of 26:17.76.  Ames' individual victory in the field of 115 runners helped lead the Warriors to a second-place team finish among 16 teams overall.
