The Screaming Eagles won the match by scores of 25-11, 25-22, 20-25, and 25-21.

With the scored tied at 3-3 in the first set, Southern Indiana outscored WSU 22-8 the rest of the way.

The woes continued as the Warriors never led in the second, but were able to turn it around midway through the third set. Down 13-9, the team tallied five straight points to take a 14-13 lead, which they never lost.
