Detroit, Mich. - The Warrior women's tennis team (13-1, 13-1GLIAC) took down Division I Valporaiso on Monday afternoon at the Eastside Tennis Club 9-0. It was another dominating performance for the Warriors as they took home their third 9-0 decision in the last six contests, losing just four matches total over that stretch.
Doubles play shot the ladies out to a quick 3-0 lead indoors at the Eastside Tennis Club despite the nice weather today in Midtown. Coach
Sheila Snyder wanted to prepare the ladies for the GLIAC Tournament this weekend that will be played indoors at the Midland Tennis Center.

Anne Li Briand (Repentigny, Que. / École Secondaire Félix-Leclerc) was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at #4 singles while her doubles partner
Yahsha Moore (West Bloomfield, Mich. / West Bloomfield) took home a 6-1, 6-1 win at #1 singles.
Alex Poissant (Laval, Que. / Vanier Prep) and
Julia Kamenko (Thornhill, Ont. / Vaughan S.S.) extended their perfect marks on the year at #3 and #2 singles respectively. The freshmen duo now joins Li Briand at 15-0 on the year entering GLIAC's
The Warriors finished 2nd overall in the GLIAC just behind Northwood (14-0, 14-0 GLIAC)
who took down Wayne State 5-4 back on September 12th . The Warrior women will be looking to avenge that loss this weekend.
