HOUGHTON, Mich. - Earning its 10th win in 11 matches and its seventh victory in a row, the Wayne State volleyball team (12-3, 7-0 GLIAC) swept Michigan Tech in
three sets (25-20, 25-21, 25-22) on Saturday afternoon at SDC Gymnasium.
Despite the sweep, the match was closely contested with 35 ties and 15 lead changes. Nonetheless, the Warriors shut out the Huskies for the third straight year and have won six of the last nine meetings.

Candice Ottey (Ajax, Ont.) had eight kills and three blocks.
Madie Kent (Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich./Grosse Pointe North) led the defensive effort with 12 digs.
Carlee Hunt (Waterford, Mich./Walled Lake Northern) had 10, one shy of her career-high, and
Lindsey Graciak (Westland, Mich./Livonia Churchill) finished with nine.
Wayne State, the only team in the GLIAC South Division with an unblemished conference record, will travel to Hillsdale and Northwood next weekend.
