The Stars added their sixth run of the day int he top of the seventh inning with two hits after a hit-by-pitch.

DU added two more runs in third to take a 7-1 advantage before Kelly sent a solo home run over the wall in left field to cut the margin to five.  Drury continued to string hits together and back-to-back home runs in the fourth gave the home team a 9-2 lead.

The Green & Gold showed some life in the top of the fifth inning, scoring three runs on five hits and an error.  Foley tripled to center field produced a run before Jacob Finkbeiner (Saline, Mich.) drove in a run with an infield single.  A throwing error brought WSU within four, 9-5.
