Box Score INDIANAPOLIS, Ind- The Wayne State University women's tennis squad (3-4 overall) lost its match Friday afternoon at fourth-ranked University of Indianapolis (8-0).

DOUBLES

Junior Laura Cazacu (London, England) and senior Linda Liong (Sarawak, Malaysia) went first and lost the No. 1 doubles match 6-0.

Freshmen Melanie Zampardo (Grosse Pointe, Mich. / University Liggett) and Suki Mandair (Dexter, Mich. / Ann Arbor Skyline) lost their No. 2 doubles match 6-1.

In No. 3 doubles action, sophomore Sabrina Laynes (Saginaw, Mich. / Heritage) and senior Teodora Radu (Ramnicu Valcea, Romania) lost 6-1.

SINGLES

Liong was first off, the courts falling at No. 1 singles 6-2, 6-0.

At No. 2 singles, Mandair lost 6-0, 6-2.

Senior Brianna Douglas (Dayton, Ohio / Chaminade Julienne) lost her No. 4 singles match, 6-0, 6-0.

At No. 5 singles, Laynes fell 6-2, 6-0.

Zampardo lost her No. 3 singles match 6-2, 6-1.

Junior Carla Jewell (Hobart, Ind.) lost her match after going to a third set super tiebreaker, 6-7, 6-3, 10-7.
