Box Score Clinton Township, Mich. – The Wayne State University Women's tennis squad (4-4) won its match against Hillsdale College (3-2) on Sunday afternoon at Peachtree Tennis Club.

Melanie Zampardo (Grosse Pointe, Mich. / University Liggett) and freshman
Suki Mandair (Dexter, Mich. / Ann Arbor Skyline) went first and won their No. 2 doubles match, 6-3.
Junior
Laura Cazacu (London, England) and senior
Linda Liong (Sarawak, Malaysia) won their No. 1 doubles match 6-4.
In No. 3 doubles action, sophomore
Sabrina Laynes (Saginaw, Mich. / Heritage) and senior
Teodora Radu (Ramnicu Valcea, Romania) won 7-6 (1).
SINGLES
Cazacu was first off the courts winning at No. 2 singles 6-2, 6-2.
Zampardo won her No. 4 singles match, 6-2, 6-1.
At No. 1 singles, Liong notched a 6-4, 6-3 win.
Mandair suffered a 7-6 (5) loss at No. 3 singles.
At No. 5 singles, junior
Carla Jewell (Hobart, Ind.) fell 6-4, 6-1.
Senior
Brianna Douglas (Dayton, Ohio / Chaminade Julienne) lost at No. 6 singles, 6-2, 7-5, 10-8.
