KENOSHA, Wis. -- The Wayne State University volleyball team (2-5 overall) closed out its play at Parkside's Hampton Inn Invitational on Saturday inside De Simone Arena. The Warriors fell to Ohio Dominican (3-4 overall) for the second instance this season, this time in five sets, and Northern State (8-0 overall) in four periods.
Match One - Ohio Dominican 3, Wayne State 2
HOW IT HAPPENED (18-25, -22, -19, 20-25, 12-15)
- Wayne State hit .175 to Ohio Dominican's .205.
- The Warriors finished with 43 kills and 21 errors on 126 total attacks.
- The Panthers notched 62 kills and 31 mishaps on 151 swings.

Kayla Giroux paced her team in kills with 13 to just four errors on 29 attempts for a .310 clip.
- Also reaching double-figures in kills was
Molly Miller with 11.
- Miller accompanied that with 10 digs for her third double-double in six matches to begin the season.
- Miller was one of three Warriors with 10 or more digs along with
Maya Wegand's 11 and
Kendyl Andrews' 10.
- Those 11 digs for Wegand bested her previous career high by six.
- ODU also held the edge in points, kills, service aces, assists and digs.

HOW IT HAPPENED (17-25, 24-26, -22, 16-25)
- Northern State hit at a percentage of .269 to Wayne State's .187.
- The Wolves finished strong with a .536 in the fourth set while the Warriors' best effort was in the third at .281.
- In the fourth, Northern State tallied 17 kills, two errors and 28 total attacks.
- Digs were tied in the team head-to-head, but NSU had the upper hand in points, kills, aces, blocks and assists.

Molly Miller was out in front of all players from both teams in kills with 21.

Kayla Dulgar (40 assists) reached the 40-assist mark for the third time this season and 16th instance in her career.
- Dulgar's 14 digs gave her the sophomore's second double-double of the fall.
