Volleyball Wins at Michigan Tech for First Time Since 2016

Wayne State picked up its 15th victory of the season, the program's most since 2022.

HOUGHTON, Mich. -- The Wayne State University volleyball team (15-4 overall, 7-2 GLIAC) was victorious at Michigan Tech (7-12 overall, 4-4 GLIAC) on Friday night for the first time since October 1, 2016.  The Warriors had lost four straight inside the Huskies' SDC Gymnasium prior to their four-set triumph in the most-recent meeting.

"It was a good road win tonight for the Warriors," said head coach Tim Koth.  "Tech gave us their best shot and we were able to adjust.  We really did a nice job on the service line tonight.  Now we have to regroup to play another tough opponent in Northern Michigan."
