AUGUSTA, Mich. -- The Wayne State University women's golf team wrapped up its final tournament of the fall portion of the 2026-27 campaign on Sunday afternoon.  The Warriors placed fourth out of 13 squads at the Davenport Panther Invitational at Stonehedge North Golf Course, home of the GLIAC Championships come April.

"It was great to put together one of our best team scores of the fall season today," said head coach Larry Hamilton.  "I believe we know what we need to do, what areas we each need to work on this off-season to bring our scores down even more for the spring."
