Football Program To Host Youth Camp

DETROIT -- The Wayne State University football program, under the direction of first-year head coach Terrence Isaac, Sr., will host a one-day youth camp on Friday, June 5th.

The camp is open to kids entering grades K-8 this fall and will run from 9 a.m. until noon.  Check-in begins at 8 a.m.

This kid friendly camp is centered around learning more about football and developing sport specific skills.

This camp will feature a one-on-one experience with the newest coach to Detroit and the GLIAC, with assistance from a well experienced coaching staff.  This will be a great opportunity for kids to not only have a learning experience but to learn what it is to be a Wayne State athlete.

Some drills will include County Fair, Footwork Cone Drills, and as well as tug of war and a flag football game at the end.

The cost is $60 per camper.
